In my book, The Secret of Laurel Oaks, I think the theme is patience pays off. I thought this because in my book Daphne had to wait many hundreds of years before some one found out the truth about what happend. Also when Lila arrived at Laurel Oaks Daphne had to wait a few days before Lila started investigating what happend to her. The theme in the book is unclear to me but thats what i thought it could be.

Favorite Character
My favorite character is Bilbo from The Hobbit. I chose Bilbo because at the beginning of the story Bilbo was just like any other Hobbit. He didn't like to leave his hobbit hole or even the Shire. When Gandalf gave him a surprise visit telling him that he is needed on an adventure Bilbo declines the request. As the book went on he regretted his decision and left his home. At the end of the story Bilbo went from a lazy person to a adventurous and wise person, the adventure changed him and made him less naive. At the end of the story Bilbo left his home all the time and explored the world outside of the Shire. I admire him because he started off so naive and unaware of the rest of Middle Earth but at the end he was wise ans resourceful.. This reminds of myself I was very naive before I Experienced the rest of the world.

My favorite book is Eragon
I like to read Fantasy
I am reading: The Lord
of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
In my book Frodo
Baggins has inherited his uncle’s entire fortune including a ring that makes
people disappear. In the years after his uncle’s disappearance, Frodo is
visited by an old wizard, Gandalf. The old wizard tells him that he must
destroy the ring because it makes people go crazy and become addicted to its power.
He explains that the ring can only be destroyed in the terrible Mount Doom.
When Gandalf finishes explaining about the ring and its past, Frodo and Gandalf
realize the Frodo’s gardener Sam has been eavesdropping, forcing Sam into the
adventure of destroying the ring. Sam and Frodo prepare for their journey and
begin to leave their peaceful town of the Shire and go into Middle Earth. As
they leave they run into Frodo’s friend Mary. They continue on their journey
and make it to the Elven kingdom.
